ALEKSANDROPOL — NEW ROME & PERSENBURG Today His Imperial Majesty the Faithful Pavlovian Emperor and Autocrat of the Romans and all Rus' and His Imperial and Royal Apostolic Majesty the Emperor-King of Karnia-Ruthenia have signed a Treaty amending the Treaty of Osokorky (itself amending the Treaties of Dionysopol and Theodosia) recognizing in it the Imperial rank of Their Imperial Majesties the North Sea Emperor and Empress.

The amended Treaty recognizes the Imperium of the North Sea Emperor and Empress and establishes their Sphere of Influence over Denmark, Norway, Sweden, the British Isles, and Greenland. The Treaty furthermore contains more provisions on the nature of the Treaty and how to handle illegitimate claims to the Imperial rank.

The North Sea Empire is a confederate Monarchy, historically founded by Cnut the Great (c. 990-1035) as a confederation of states under his reign. HIM Thomas I, a descendant of Cnut the Great re-established the claim in 2019.
