Changes to the Imperial Title

Acts

The Empire of Pavlov is a social and cultural project which seeks to model the society, customs, and traditions of the medieval Slavic principalities and the Roman Empire in a contemporary framing. The standards of what is and isn't acceptable were drastically different in the era that Pavlov is modeled after, and many of today's societal concepts didn't exist at all. More in the Disclaimer.

Changes to the Imperial Title

13 August 7528 AM

Following the Title Act motioned by His Majesty Despot Ivan Brienskiy, the title of His Imperial Majesty Alexander IV, Defender of the Faith, Turtle and Elephants, may the Almighty God bless his reign, saw several additions, as the titles of Magnus (the Great), Pius Felix (Pious and Blessed), Germanicus (Victor of Germans) and Moscovicus (Victor of Moscovites) have been added to the Imperial Title. This makes the short Imperial Title His Imperial Majesty Emperor Alexander IV, Autocrat of Romans and of All Rus', Victor of Moscovites, Victor of Germans, Pius Felix, Magnus Augustus, Defender of the Faith, Turtle and Elephants, may the Almighty God bless his reign.

Historically the culture of Pavlov has been a mix of Slavic, Roman, and partially Turkic influences. The addition of four more Roman titles emphasizes the Roman heritage of Pavlov and its status as the continuation of the Roman Empire.
